The line-up of R&B megastars performing at Coca-Cola-Arena continues to expand, this time with news that Jason Derulo will return to Dubai. Originally scheduled to perform on Saturday, 4 May, the award-winning singer's Nu King World Tour stop in the UAE has been postponed.
Due to the ongoing bad weather and with Dubai residents urged to stay at home and only use the roads if absolutely necessary, Jason Derulo will now perform in Dubai on Saturday, 15 June 2024.
Since breaking through with his five-times-platinum single Whatcha Say, Derulo has sold more than 200 million records worldwide. Releasing chart-topping hits like Talk Dirty, Wiggle and Swalla, his music has consistently set dance floors ablaze around the globe. With his smooth vocals, electrifying live shows and undeniable stage presence, Derulo has carved out a niche as one of the most recognisable stars in pop music.
The concert forms part of the EarthSoul festival at Coca-Cola Arena, which also features a performance from American rapper French Montana on Saturday, 22 June. The events aim to unite artists and audiences in a shared mission of environmental awareness in the UAE’s Year of Sustainability.
Derulo’s upcoming concert in Dubai is not his first stint in the UAE. In fact, he’s frequented the city many times — the last time in September 2023 when he performed at Blu Dubai for his birthday. He also took to the Coca-Cola Arena stage back in 2022. Some of his other notable UAE gigs include those at Expo Dubai 2020 and Global Village — just to name a few.
With each visit, Derulo has solidified his status as a fan favourite in the UAE, drawing crowds of fans eager to groove to his infectious beats and sing along to his iconic hits. His return to Dubai for the Nu King World Tour promises to be yet another epic performance that ought to be sold out.
