Come for the dessert and stay for the speciality coffee.
If you always have room for dessert, then we have some exciting news. Sola Restaurant and Café has expanded and opened a branch in Abu Dhabi’s Marsa Al Bateen. So come for the dessert and stay for the speciality coffee.
Sola Restaurant and Café prides itself on bringing together modernity and tradition. The venue boasts a sleek white exterior with a gold logo. Plus, there are large floor-to-ceiling windows, which open up during the winter months, and even a drive-through option.
Sola Restaurant and Café’s menu includes European and Middle Eastern influences across its Insta-ready desserts and drinks. Pastries include croissants, focaccia in different flavours, and a range of calzones, from cheese and zaatar to tomato and olives. Plus, starters range from a Mezze Platter to Quinoa Salad.
Dessert highlights include the Royal Date – it is topped with a golden date and looks like a cake within a cake. The Apple Tatin is shaped like a butterfly, and the Caramel Cheesecake is topped with salted caramel popcorn. Options also include a Chocolate Cone, Chocolate Pretzels, Date Pudding, Exotic Strawberry, French Toast Rolls, Mango Cheesecake, Matcha Chocolate, and S’mores.
Sola Restaurant and Café’s drinks menu spans hot and cold drinks, and many come with dry ice theatrics. Hot drinks include Arabic Coffee, Turkish Coffee, and Moroccan Tea. Cold drinks include a Lotus Cream Shake, Mango and Passionfruit, Strawberry Smoothie, and Tropical Smoothie. Plus, there are Mojitos in different flavours, an Oreo Flowerpot served in a plant pot, and L’Orange served in a scooped-out orange.
Sola Restaurant and Café is open from Sunday to Saturday from 7am to 1am.
