Running until 15 December, the annual food festival is rooted in diverse dining experiences.
Abu Dhabi Culinary Season is officially underway, with over 2,000 restaurants offering unique and diverse gastronomic experiences across the capital. Running until 15 December, the annual food festival is back for its sixth edition. And like editions past, the culinary event is presenting the best of the city's vibrant and diverse food scene in creative and innovative ways, highlighting local talent and dining concepts through festivals, limited-edition menus, and exclusive offerings. This includes Abu Dhabi Showdown Week 2023, Diwali, and UAE National Day, during which malls will offer dishes priced AED 52 to commemorate the UAE's 52nd year.
Chef's Table
One highlight is the return of Chef's Table, where a selection of the city's top restaurants will offer curated, multi-course menus that showcase culinary excellence at a great price from 1 to 30 November. Participating establishments include Oak Room at The Abu Dhabi EDITION, BB Social Dining and Dai Pai Dong at Rosewood Abu Dhabi, José by Pizarro at Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers, and Maté at Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi Hotel And Villas.
Nomad Supper Club Series
The Nomad Supper Club series, meanwhile, will be a celebration of local talent. Taking place from November to December in six unique locations within Abu Dhabi's leading hotels and landmarks, it will feature participation by the likes of Rixos Marina Abu Dhabi, Olive Garden at The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal, and Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental — and more locations are to be announced. Each location will host a local chef, with talent from both Dubai and Abu Dhabi making appearances.
Also on the roster is a group supper club hosted by Stasha Toncev of 21grams, Faisal Al Harmoodi of Let's Cafe, culinary consultant Hesa Al Khalifa, and Ali Yazdi of SLAW. Elsewhere, individual supper clubs will be hosted by Dubai-based chefs Reif Othman, Chef Kelvin Cheung, and Hattem Matter (who will be joined by Faisal Nasser Lento for a four-hands dinner). A set course menu will be served on a communal-style table at each supper club, with prices starting at AED 450.
