The millennial-favourite rock band will kick off Abu Dhabi’s 2026 events calendar.
Abu Dhabi is lining up another blockbuster year of live music, and it starts with a seismic homecoming. Fresh from a star-studded 2025 season that welcomed Coldplay, Ed Sheeran and Usher, the capital opens 2026 with Linkin Park’s long-awaited return to the UAE.
Mark your calendars for Tuesday, 20 January 2026. The rock group will take over Etihad Arena on Yas Island for a high-octane show that promises the kind of cathartic sing-alongs only Linkin Park can deliver. Expect a set packed with era-defining anthems such as “In the End,” alongside new material from the band’s latest album, From Zero. Air guitars will be out, heads will be banging, and voices will be hoarse the morning after.
The Abu Dhabi date forms part of the From Zero World Tour and marks the band’s first UAE performance since 2010. For fans, it’s a chance to reconnect with the music that soundtracked a generation, performed by the musicians who fused rock, rap and electronics into a stadium-ready sound.
Formed in California in 1996 by Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson and Rob Bourdon, Linkin Park grew from a shared passion for rock and hip-hop into one of the world’s biggest acts. The lineup soon expanded to include the late Chester Bennington, whose voice became synonymous with the band’s emotional intensity. Although the band went on hiatus after Chester Bennington’s passing in 2017, they’ve continued to honour his legacy with performances, new music, and a new addition to the group, Emily Armstrong.
Presale ticket access opens on 1 September via the official Linkin Park website, followed by a Live Nation presale on 2 September at 12pm. General ticket sales go live on 4 September.
So dig out those old Linkin Park tees, start practising those lyrics, and get ready for a night of pure rock energy.
