Throughout his career, Abdo has achieved numerous milestones. He was the first to sing the Al Sanaaniya song with a musical orchestra, and the first Saudi artist to release complete national album. Abdo was the first Arab artist to use the term Habibty in singing and his international acclaim reached new heights when he became the first Saudi artist to perform at the Paris Opera. He was honoured with the Diamond Jubilee award in recognition of his 60 years of artistic contribution.
With an illustrious six-decade-long career, Abdo is one of Saudi music's most influential figures. Renowned for his ability to present local music in a universally resonant manner, he has captivated audiences not only in the Middle East but also across the world.
