A late-night celebration with art, film, fitness, wellness, VR and more.

Louvre Abu Dhabi turns eight this week, and the museum is marking the milestone with Night at the Museum on Friday, 7 November. For one night only, doors stay open until 1am with after-hours access to the permanent galleries, Mamluks: Legacy of an Empire, Art Here 2025, the Children’s Museum and the museum’s new VR experience. It is a rare chance to see the Jean Nouvel-designed landmark by night, then move from culture to cardio, wellness and cinema in one visit.

Start with a free outdoor screening of the family favourite Night at the Museum at 7pm in the Auditorium Plaza. Seats are complimentary on a first-come, first-served basis, with advance reservation recommended. The film runs one hour and 48 minutes.

Suppose you would rather keep the energy high, book CRANK’s rooftop spinning takeover on the Gallery 12 terrace. Expect 60-minute silent disco rides with lasers, live DJ beats and skyline views. Sessions run from 5.45pm through 12.30am on 7 November, with a sunrise ride at 6am on 8 November. Tickets are priced at AED 250 per class, and places are limited.

Louvre Abu Dhabi Breathwork

Wellness seekers can float beneath the dome with Breasy’s immersive breathwork. Two deep-dive sessions take place from 5.30pm to 7.30pm and 9.30pm to 11.30pm on 7 November, blending soundscapes and guided techniques in the Dome Plaza. Tickets are AED 400.

Creative types can Book an Easel for a guided hour of painting under the dome at 8pm or 10pm. Tickets are AED 150 or AED 120 for members. Families and first-timers can grab torches for the Flashlight Gallery Experience, a one-hour wander through the permanent collection priced at AED 50. The community mural welcomes all ages without booking.

Quantum Dome Louvre Abu Dhabi

Round out the night with the Quantum Dome Project, a 30-minute group VR journey through Imperial Rome, Medieval Baghdad and Mughal India, hosted in the Lower Forum. Tickets cost AED 120, with AED 95 for members.

Whether you come for film, fitness, relaxation, hands-on art or VR thrills, Night at the Museum is designed to be a choose-your-own-adventure evening. Advance booking is strongly advised for all timed activities, and members receive preferred pricing on select experiences.
