This historic milestone will elevate the region's basketball scene.

Get ready for an extraordinary basketball extravaganza. NBA, the International Basketball Federation (FIBA) and DCT Abu Dhabi have joined forces to bring the 13th edition of Basketball Without Borders Asia to the capital. It also marks the first time that the NBA and FIBA's global basketball development and community outreach program will be held in the Arabian Gulf - a historic milestone that's going to take the region's basketball scene to new heights.

From 2 to 5 June, NYUAD will be buzzing with electrifying energy. BWB Asia 2023 will bring together the top under-18 male and female players from across Asia. These talented young athletes will have the opportunity to learn directly from current and former NBA, WNBA and FIBA players, legends and coaches. Can you imagine the knowledge bombs they'll drop?

They will also have the chance to compete alongside their peers from the region. The camp will not only focus on basketball skills but also provide valuable life skills, leadership development, and NBA Cares programming. It's a hoopster's dream come true.

BWB has been an absolute game-changer for over two decades now. The program has nurtured and developed some of the most incredible international prospects out there. Since its inception in 2001, this program has touched the lives of over 3,900 participants from 134 countries and territories. It's a proven launchpad for those aspiring ballers who dream of making it big.

The program's debut in the region will foster the growth of basketball as a sport and cultivate the next generation of basketball superstars. The stage is set, the world is watching, and the Arabian Gulf is ready to leave its indelible mark on the basketball map. It's going to be a slam-dunk extravaganza.

Hold onto your sneakers because there's more. Alongside the epic BWB Asia 2023, the Jr. NBA Abu Dhabi Elite Camp will also be taking place from 2 to 4 June. This camp will gather 40 of the top under-15 boys and girls from the Jr. NBA Abu Dhabi League. The participants will engage in fundamental skill development and 5-on-5 competition. It's a basketball bonanza that will leave you breathless.
