Between a new brunch and a highly anticipated reopening, October is a month devoted to foodies at Conrad Abu Dhabi Etihad Towers. Let's dive into what's on the menu.

Ray's Grill

Celebrating its recent reopening, this leading steakhouse is once again serving an array of sumptuous meats, signature specialities and premium beverages. Situated on the 63rd floor, the sophisticated hideaway is renowned for being one of the city's most lavish dining spots. Its 360-degree views of the city skyline and sparkling Arabian Gulf make it perfect for special occasions. Incidentally, the last few months have entailed improvements to the overall look and feel at Ray's Grill following the closure of Le Petit Chef in July.

Head Chef Daniel Irvine, who has worked at numerous luxury hotels worldwide, has curated a menu anchored in fresh produce and premium ingredients sourced from far and wide. A natural talent, he's known to infuse all his specialities with cutting-edge techniques and culinary prowess. It's no surprise, then, that watching him and his team at work is part of the experience at Ray's Grill – diners are invited to sit back and watch as they prepare the likes of Angus beef, tuna and mushroom tartare, and the signature chef's salad tableside. The succulent sharing-style Chateaubriand and meaty Tomahawk are also expertly carved at the table.

Further enticing options are found amongst the classic appetisers of shrimp cocktail and crab cakes, the choice of grilled fresh seafood, vegetarian-friendly cauliflower steak, and delectable double-patty smash burgers made with 100 percent minced chuck steak. Meat lovers will be in their element with the extensive assortment of premium cuts and succulent grills, all of which are complemented with a curated choice of aromatic grapes, playful hops and signature cocktails.

The knowledgeable Ray's Grill sommelier is happy to recommend the perfect variety to enhance every meal, while the venue's extensive wine cellar boasts endless smooth and delicious grape blends from the globe's most prestigious vineyards. Then, once the memorable feast has wrapped up, every guest is invited to extend their night out with some opulent post-dinner drinks at Ray's Bar, found just one level below. This one brings with it added intrigue; not only does a secret passageway at Ray's Grill lead the way, but you'll also be given a pin code that grants exclusive entry.

Meanwhile, guests can sample light nibbles such as octopus carpaccio and beef cecina within 'The Royal Platter', freshly made breads and premium cold cuts at 'White Chapel', and many more enticing bites – all served in a buffet that draws inspiration from the UK capital's most iconic sights. Over in the mains, the options will present the finest flavours of the 'City of London', with traditional beef, salmon and lamb Wellington, plus delicious brunch specialities such as the signature' 4-Minute Egg' special and hearty 'Breakfast en Bread' artisan sourdough sandwich. And because no British-themed brunch would be complete without the most beloved of British dishes, the likes of shepherd's pie, bangers and mash, and fish and chips are also expected alongside international favourites such as pizza.

Finally, the spectacular 'Queen of the Dessert' station presents one of the country's largest and most opulent spreads of cakes, desserts and sweets, so English sweet treats like the Bakewell tart, Eton mess, and jam roly-poly will make an appearance, inevitably evoking nostalgia for the bustling streets of London. And naturally, the whole affair will feature a carefully curated selection of free-flowing premium spirits, grapes, mixes, and soft drinks. Taking place every Saturday from 12:30pm to 4pm, 'Pardon My Brunch' packages starting from AED 375.
