The Parisian restaurant is more than 100 years old.
The world-famous chef Alain Ducasse is heading to Riyadh. The French chef has opened Benoit in KAFD, showcasing classic French cuisine. If you want to experience a traditional Parisian bistro, here’s what you need to know.
Benoit boasts an illustrious history and is famous in Paris. The concept was created in 1912 by butcher Benoit Matray and was a hotspot for socialites and trading on Rue Saint Martin. It has been feeding locals and tourists ever since. Now, it is set to recreate the Parisian bistro experience in the heart of Riyadh.

Over the years, Benoit has been passed on to different generations in the family. In 2005, the Petit family decided to sell the restaurant to Maison Ducasse. The brand expanded internationally in New York, Tokyo, and now, Saudi Arabia.
Alain says: “There’s no other place as typically Parisian as Benoit. I have a very special affection for this beautiful house, with its own history and generosity. Benoit is a friendly place, full of memories and shared pleasure. It reflects a certain way of life and tradition that we want to preserve.”
