Aloft Muscat is making its Oman debut with a trendy hotel

The hotel includes loft style rooms, live music and cool restaurants.

Aloft Hotels has properties around the world, and is now bringing its signature style to Oman. Aloft Muscat is scheduled to open in spring 2023, and marks the brand's debut in the country.

Aloft Muscat is aimed at the next generation of visitors, which range from music enthusiasts to tech-savvy travellers. The hotel will have Gen Z-inspired features, which include eclectic spaces, distinctive design and live music. Plus, there will 199 modern loft-style rooms.

So far, the rooms have hip names including Aloft King, Breezy Suite, Breezy Twin, Savvy King and Urban Twin. The rooms include brightly coloured carpets, geometric designs on the wall and statement cushions.

The hotel will be home to cool restaurants: a Californian style eatery; The Backstage, an international restaurant with a Mediterranean twist; and W XYZ, the brand’s signature bar. Plus, other facilities include a rooftop pool and gym.

Danny Al Chayeb, General Manager, explained: “We are thrilled to debut Aloft Hotels in Oman. A brand known for its design-driven and tech-savvy ethos, Aloft Muscat will bring a modern, friendly and comfortable option for global travellers and a new hotspot for residents in the Sultanate.”

Aloft Muscat will be located 10 minutes from Muscat International Airport and is near to attractions including The Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, Royal Opera House Muscat, Mall of Oman, and major golf courses.

Oman has some exciting hotels in the pipeline, from Nikki Beach Resort & Spa Muscat to Aida in Muscat. Plus, Oman recently announced that tourists from more than 100 countries will be able to enter the country without a visa. Residents from GCC countries will be able to visit Oman visa free.
