The International Women’s Day-inspired event includes Billie Jean King, Jessica Alba and Ole Zelenska.

What do Hillary Clinton, Gloria Steinhem and Malala Yousafzai have in common? Sure, they are all female trailblazers, but they are all coming to Forbes 30/50 Summit in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The event brings together an illustrious line-up of speakers, and runs from 7 to 10 March.

Everyone knows about Forbes 30 Under 30, which celebrates young leaders. Forbes 30/50 Summit is a global event for women, which ties in with International Women’s Day. The talks take place at iconic venues, from the UAE’s Louvre Abu Dhabi to the Presidential Palace.

The event brings together world leaders from businesses to NGOs, and reads like a who’s who of the world’s most famous feminists. Hillary, the former United States Secretary of State, Senator and First Lady, was last in Abu Dhabi in 2011. This week, she attended Abu Dhabi Global Market, and shared how the city can be an example to the world.

She stated: “To those who have done so much already, let us expect more. You have made a commitment to a future that is different from your past very real to the formation of the nature, all the way through to all the changes and reforms that you have listed.

“I am very proud and grateful for the changes with respects to women and women’s rights, because no nation can expect to leave half the population behind and expect to be able to shape the future to what we want for our children and our grandchildren.”

The international line-up also includes founder of Sweet July, Ayesha Curry; sports icon Billie Jean King; actress and founder of The Honest Company, Jessica Alba; and First Lady of Ukraine, Olena Zelenska.

Plus, regional guests include Formula Racing Driver Amna Al Qubaisi; founder of Karen Wazen Eyewear, Karen Wazen; and Her Royal Highness Lamia Bint Majed Saud Al Saud.

Visitors can register to attend events. Happy International Women’s Day.
