The seven-piece group have been spotted at Prada fashion shows.
We love K-pop news at FACT. So, we were excited to hear that the group Enhypen have been named Prada’s newest brand ambassador. The seven-piece boyband have been appointed by the Prada brand, with the aim of opening the fashion label up to a new audience.
Enhypen’s members include Heeseung, Jake, Jay, Jungwon, Ni-Ki, Sunghoon and Sunoo. Hailing from South Korea, the group were formed by Belift Lab through the reality TV show, I-Land. The name of the band is inspired by hyphens, and connecting ideas and people together. The group released their debut album in November 2020, Border: Day One. Since then, they amassed a large following – we’re talking almost 13 million followers on Instagram.
It looks like it's not just the devil who wears Prada, as Enhypen are no strangers to the brand. The group were recently spotted at the Fall Winter 2023 Prada fashion show in Milan. Plus, members of the band have been seen wearing the label at award shows.
According to Women’s Wear Daily, Enhypen shared: “We’re delighted and honoured to be a part of this partnership as new brand ambassadors of Prada. The synergy Prada and Enhypen will create is something we’re very excited to witness and greatly looking forward to.”
Prada has recently been creating exciting collaborations. In May 2023, the brand partnered with adidas to launch a luxury football boot collection. The shoe combines Prada’s sophistication with adidas’ technology, and is one of the season’s statement shoes. The boots include luxury materials, state-of-the-art craftsmanship and design details. Plus, the collection caters to men and women.
