Welcome to the FACT Spa & Wellness Awards. The annual event, which takes place on 2 May in Dubai, celebrates the best venues in the spa and wellness industry. If you want to enter the awards, here’s what you need to know.
What are the FACT Spa & Wellness Awards?
The FACT Spa & Wellness Awards have been running for a decade in Bahrain, Qatar, and the United Arab Emirates. The brand is an authority on wellness in the Gulf.
First things first, the FACT Spa & Wellness Awards are unique in the region as no money is exchanged. Spas come and come in the GCC, but our core belief remains the same. Establishments do not have to pay to nominate, enter or attend the FACT Spa & Wellness Awards UAE. The awards are free to enter, attend and, importantly, win.
FACT's annual awards have been praised in the industry for their integrity. The awards are a trusted authority on the local wellness scene.
When FACT conducts reviews, we share our independent experiences and are not influenced by advertisers, family or friends. The winners are chosen by FACT's editorial team, in addition to in-house staff, contributors and a panel of industry insiders. The local experts are on the ground in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, visiting the UAE's spas, wellness retreats, fitness centres, beach clubs, beauty salons and barbershops.

How to enter the FACT Spa & Wellness Awards
If you want to enter the awards, then reach out to our team. We will help guide you through the awards process, from nominations to shortlists and – fingers crossed – a win.
The awards recognise brilliance in the health and wellbeing industry. Winners are chosen based on public votes and critics’ opinions. Each category will feature two awards: the BEST and the FAVOURITE.
The BEST is the critic’s choice decided by the FACT editorial team and an independent panel of industry experts, whilst the FAVOURITE is determined through an online public vote.
The public vote runs until 12 April 2024. Votes can be cast here and we encourage you to vote for your favourite spas and wellness centres across the UAE.
This year's ceremony
Now in its sixth year in the United Arab Emirates, the winners of the annual FACT Spa & Wellness Awards will be revealed during a glamorous ceremony at Fairmont The Palm, on Thursday, 2 May.
56 awards will be given out across 29 categories, covering over 150 nominees at the exclusive invite-only event.
The history of the awards
Initially launched in 2016, the FACT Spa & Wellness Awards UAE give recognition to the GCC's spa and wellness industry. The annual awards acknowledge the excellence of care, services and standards in the industry, with the intention to inspire spas across the region.
The FACT Spa & Wellness Awards form part of a wider initiative by FACT Magazine FZ LLC who are already well-established with their popular dining awards in the Gulf region.
